Alba Adriatica is one of the most important towns in Teramo Shire, for which regard tourism (but not only) on the Adriatic Seaside.
Alba Adriatica is a very young city. In fact, it’s only from 1956 that it has been separated from nearby Tortoreto city and it has began an independent town’s administration. It is situated on the coast, in front of the Adria Sea, and it’s only 45 minutes far from the mountain.
It’s shared from Martinsicuro city from the riverVibrata, from which take the name the Vibrata Valley. Alba Adriatica belong to the seven sister of the Adria Sea Teramo's coast. The town has had, in last years, various awards, such us “The Blue Flag” or “ The Gold Beach”.
Is very simple to get on Alba Adriatica, that's so thanks to the near Autoroute A14, exit “Val Vibrata”. The town offers the visitors a lot of shop center, such us outlet and new point of commerce.
Offering the tourists a traditional hospitality, it has developed an excellent choice of good fish restaurant, such us a lot of beach restaurant, pizzeria, pubs, ecc. where is possible enjoy with typical local food.
Feature of the long beach esplanade (3 km.) is the cycling road, reserved to bikers, roller bladers, runners, or simply for a fantastic and wellness walking. Here you can find many lidos and very good ice-cream or yoghurt-shop.
Night life is the peculiarity of Alba Adriatica. Almost all the private lidos are open into the night, offering music, dancing and shows. There are lots of discos in the town centre and in the surrounding area. In terms of accomodation and fun it is certainly one of the best equipped destinations of the Abruzzo coast.
